Thank you for joining us for the first annual See Them Grow Foundation’s (STGF) Donor’s Dinner! Today, as I was reflecting on last night’s festivities, I felt an incredible sense of gratitude for each and every one of you. I am truly humbled by your generosity – and the children in Luuka will surely benefit from your love and support. We hope you all had an enjoyable evening!
After expenses (including the dinner, facility rental, Eventbrite fees, performers, printing, and other costs), we raised a grand total of $7,477.46! Our total income for the event was $12,412.86. We received $9,277.86 from the dinner tickets and sponsorships (after Eventbrite fees), $2,620 in additional donations made at the end of the evening, and $515 from the raffles. Our expenses totalled $4,935.40 including $3,902.05 for dinner, facility fee, and gratuity, entertainment totalled $508.58, and printing expenses totalled $524.85.
As mentioned, STGF is striving to purchase the plot of land in Luuka to break ground on the school by the end of the year. The current cost of the 50 acres in Luuka is $50,000. We currently have $12,000 in real estate income and with the donations from last night, we are up to $19,477.46. We are hoping to raise another $30,522.54 by year end. As the holidays approach and 2018 comes to a close, we hope you find it in your hearts to support our mission and to spread the word about STGF. If you feel so inclined, here are 4 ways to donate:
