I had a chat with Martin and Joshua today and it was really great to touch base. Both 11 years dropped out of school 3 years back and resorted to fishing. Their parents couldn’t pay for their tuition (school fees) and decided to start fishing as a way of survival. They wake up everyday at 5AM and take their canoe onto the lake even though the storms are really bad.
Many kids in Uganda are going through similar situation or worse. Going hands with See Them Grow Foundation to plant trees for future shades.
Another one is Ruth she is 8 years old and a school drop out. Only she does is to look after her young siblings, collecting firewood, water and cooking. Help See Them Grow Foundation support children like Ruth find a home and take them back to school–
